Dr. Angie Chambers, B.Sc. D.V.M.
Small Animal Medicine and Surgery
Dr. Chambers has strong ties in the community as she grew up in the Gordon Head area of Victoria and graduated from Mt. Douglas High School. In 1992, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a focus of study on Anatomy, Physiology and Animal Classification, from the University of Victoria. In 1998, she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
Dr. Chambers has worked her entire career in Victoria, first as an associate veterinarian for 3 years and then as an emergency veterinarian at the Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital. In 2002, she took over the Royal Oak Pet Clinic and has been focused on the care of her clients and their pets since then. She continues to do emergency work at the hospital on an as needed basis.
Dr. Chambers prides herself on providing thorough examinations and internal medicine workups. She does not “cut corners” when it comes to her patients’ health. Dr. Chambers has three daughters, 3 cats: Domino, Nelson, and Leo and 2 dogs, Lily and Pi (who often come with her to work). She enjoys running, gardening and spending weekends at Horne Lake living “off the grid”.
