I would encourage clients considering or already feeding a raw food diet to carefully review the literature on this trend. The studies that are based on verifiable science do not show a positive benefit to feeding raw. In addition, there are significant risks of infectious disease to the people in close contact to a dog or cat fed raw foods. We all want to do the best for our pets
